The right to freedom of conscience is protected by international conventions and declarations of human rights that have been ratified by Sweden. Nationally, the issue of health professionals? right to freedom of conscience in the abortion care is not resolved by public inquiry. This has led to that Sweden has been notified to the European Committee of Social Rights on the grounds that the country is considered to be violating the Council of  Europe Resolution 1763 and that the proper question to be determined by regulations of the interests that are balanced, based on their legal value in relation to each other. Freedoms, rights and obligations conflict with each other.

Den ökande stressen bland hälso-och sjukvårdspersonal uppmärksammas tid efter annan i olika medier. Omstruktureringar och upplevda neddragningar i vården har lett till högre arbetsbelastning, vilket i sin tur påverkat arbetsförhållandena och det psykiska välbefinnandet hos personalen i negativ riktning. Syftet var att beskriva förekomstoch upplevelserav samvetsstress bland sjuksköterskor verksamma på kirurgiska vårdavdelningar på ett sjukhus i Sverige, med hjälp av instrumentet Stress of conscience Questionnaire (SCQ). När individen upplever stress i samband med att inte kunna agera i enlighet med sitt samvete uppstår samvetsstress. Denna stress är vanligt förekommande hos sjuksköterskor. Om stressen blir långvarig kan den övergå till kronisk stress, vilket kan ge allvarliga konsekvenser. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva när och hur sjuksköterskan upplever samvetsstress. Metoden var litteraturstudie som innefattade tio kvalitativa studier samt en kvantitativ studie som svarade på studiens syfte.

Att vårda en närstående person med demens innebär en stor börda för anhörigvårdaren vilket kan resultera i psykisk ohälsa. Stöd är en viktig del för att minska bördan. Syftet med studien var att ur ett omvårdnadsperspektiv belysa anhörigas upplevelse av psykosocial börda och psykosocialt stöd vid vård av en person med demens i hemmet. Studien var en systematisk litteraturstudie som baserades på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar. I resultatet framkom att anhöriga som vårdar en person med demens upplevde en psykisk och fysisk börda.

Syftet var att undersöka högkänslighet och stress hos studenter. Metoden var en kvantitativ jämförande studie mellan grupper (kvinnor och män). Undersökningen genomfördes genom en elektronisk enkät. Urvalet var ett tillfällighetsurval av kvinnor och män i åldrarna 19 ? 56 som studerade vid ett universitet, totalt 122 stycken deltagare, 31 män och 91 kvinnor.
